PLEASE JOIN US! We are a group of local people, from all walks of life, who care about human rights issues. We are affiliated to Amnesty International UK. All are welcome. The more members we have, the more we can do. Even if you have only 15 minutes a week to spare, you can still be an active supporter from home, as that would be enough time to write a letter on behalf of one of the group's prisoners-of -conscience. It is up to you how much you want to take on. You do not have to be a member of Amnesty International UK to join our group. You just have to turn up at a meeting or contact one of us about what support you might be able to offer from home. You would also be very welcome to attend a social event as a way of informally finding out more. |
