Elements of the Periodic Table
Gadolinium
Silver-white metallic element Gadolinium (Gd). Element 64. Ferromagnetic (ie it sticks to magnets). Gadolinium comes from the ore Gadolinite. Gadolinium is used in magnets, semiconductors, superconductors, MRI scanners, TV tube phosphor colours, all sorts of uses.
