I've stayed at the Jurys Doyle hotel myself when going to conferences. It's a classy hotel, and it's Irish. Staying in an Irish hotel has advantages, for example it's more International than local, as if it's an embassy where you go through the hotel front doors and you're suddenly in the Emerald Isle. The breakfast is especially good as you can eat as much as you like, (although perhaps they don't call it an "English breakfast"). Copies of the Irish Independent newspaper are available to read or to take away as souvenirs. The lifts are elevators, and some things aren't necessarily the same way round to what you might expect. You'll have to see the place for yourself!
"Jurys Doyle - Ireland's largest hotel group
Based in Ireland, Jurys Doyle is one of the fastest-growing hotel groups in Europe, with 35 trading properties in the UK, Ireland and USA. The Group's portfolio consisted of 5 hotels before its rapid expansion began in 1993 with the launch of the Jurys Inns budget brand.
Strong growth has continued ever since with the opening of 26 new properties and the acquisition of Doyle Hotels (11 hotels) in 1999. As part of a strategic repositioning Jurys Doyle has disposed of 6 hotels.
Two new properties are scheduled to open for business during 2006, two scheduled for 2007 and one scheduled for 2008.
