If you forgot to take your tools out of the van, you could wake up to a nasty surprise! Don't worry with More Than Van Insurance, if your vehicle is seriously damaged you get a free replacement vehicle for 48 hours, ...or at least you did at the time this page was first published.

It was quite a good offer, and More Than > Van Insurance used to have a nice set of shpiel at this page at the time (2006/07/20) in which MORE THAN > van insurance offered some great savings including 12 months cover for the price of 10, interest-free monthly instalments, so you could spread the cost of your insurance over the whole year at no extra cost, a saving of up to 60% with a no claims discount if you hadn't made any claims in the last 5 years, up to 17% if driving of the van was restricted to a maximum of four named drivers rather than just letting anyone drive it, and up to 10% if your van had a professionally fitted alarm, immobiliser or tracking system that is in addition to the manufacturer’s standard. Also, MORE THAN company offered a FREE 24-HOUR HELPLINE and said at the time "We’ll arrange emergency recovery, forward any messages you need delivered, and arrange transport for driver and passengers to their destination, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year" and they also said "FREE REPLACEMENT VEHICLE - Yours to use for 48 hours if your van is either stolen or immobilised/unroadworthy following an accident, fire, attempted theft or vandalism, within the UK", and as if that wasn't enough they also offered "GUARANTEED REPAIRS - Our nationwide network of Priority Repairers can give immediate authorisation on repairs and will guarantee paint and bodywork repairs for up to 3 years when your cover is comprehensive".

Well, you couldn't have grumbled about that, could you? Of course the details were correct at the time of publishing, and the page was originally created on 2006/07/20, but we can't speak for MORE THAN and their current offers, as they have decided they'd rather not be advertised at Zyra's website anymore! So, as of 2007/02/12 this site has no affiliation with MORE THAN and hasn't got a link for you to visit MORE THAN via our friends at the helpful affiliate marketing company, so we'll just have to show you OTHER INSURANCE COMPANIES instead!

It is any company's prerogative to miss out if they want to, but MORE THAN have asked quite reasonably that we remove their banners, so that's why there is a blank banner here rather than the MORE THAN > snazzy banner with a picture of a van...

I think it's a bit silly, but in a way it's a fair deal, as my freedom of speech is worth more than any commission the insurance company could pay me for bringing new customers to them. In business, it's important to make money, but it's also important to have independence and integrity and not be told what you can and can't say! Take a look at other insurance companies who are happy to be advertised at this site and to co-exist amicably with other categories which make up a diverse world.
