Go up here to see the continuous spectrumThe idea for Zyra's Piano starts with a keyboard with the notes on it except that it has a very wide range of octaves. It's got bass, and the notes of the treble clef, and top-c, but as the keyboard extends out of audio and into radio, you can see the logarithmic representation of the frequency spectrum. Especially of note is the part of octaves 40 and 41 where the visible spectrum appears, before the range extends into UV, X-Rays, and cosmic gamma rays/particles.

Footnote: Don't believe everything you see on TV! On a TV documentary entitled INVISIBLE WORLDS, a keyboard with light on one octave was shown and described to extend as far as the sun. However, this is not true! How could such a mistake have been made? I think it's a lack of understanding that the keyboard is a Logarithmic Scale! To understand this, you should know that each octave is twice the frequency of the one below it, and half the frequency of the octave above it. You haven't got to double things many times to get to very big numbers. This is the reality. So, on this page, you can see a piano keyboard extending from octave -8 to gamma rays in 69 octaves.

This isn't the only mistake in that television show. The matter of the way cats manage to land the right way up, was also misquoted to some extent. But these things aren't a matter of opinion; they are a matter of science, and I can prove these things, by experiment!
